Just completed reading the third and final volume in the Ether series by Molinari, The Dragon's Descent. 378 pages. My daughter Lillian is in tears. Vero becomes a guardian angel after dying as a young boy. His sister was able to see him be taken into the company of fellow angels Michael, Uriel (Vero's mentor), Raziel, and Raphael. Just moments prior to his earthly death, Vero was fighting alongside these archangels (in the spiritual realm, Ether) as a simple fledgling, or angel-in-training. But because of his trust in the Vox Dei, or voice of God, he was able to defeat Lucifer in a battle (not THE battle), even when Lucifer turned into a fierce dragon. Vero was aided in this victory by prayers from family and friends, which furnished him with archangelic armor. Amazing series. Better than Narnia in my view, though Lewis' writing is superior. And though it does read like a movie script at times, it made for a much more lively narrative.

This has been my sons favorite book series.
Awesome series. It helped me feel peace, dealing with my Mom who has Alzheimer's. I know my Dad is in heaven waiting for her.
I like this book because it talked about guardian Angels. I sometimes look back at things that happened and thought that a guardian angel must have been protecting me!
I have read all three books in the series. They are for young people but I have really enjoyed them. They are full of adventure and the theme really makes you think.
My 10 year old loves this series.
My daughter and I LOVED this series and were so looking forward to this final book coming out. It did not disappoint. I absolutely love the combination of faith and action. I really hate it is only a trilogy. It was also a great segway into a study on angels.
Best book I've ever read but the ending is sad and I wish there was more books like a adventure story were he fire Lucifer and eventually wins when he is a fully fledged Angel or make one about Greer or ada of X and what happens to them when Vero became fully fledged and they have to go down to the lake of fire and have to get the Angel that failed to get the book of raziel and was Sent to the lake of fire and they escape with her somehow please make it please
